«shadow» is a shrine dedicated to the hedgehog co-star of SEGA/Sonic Team's Sonic Adventure 2 game for the DreamCast. This site was first opened on April 19th, 2002. This site was created because of my undying adoration and love for Shadow. I'm not kidding.
A little about myself. I'm an up-and-coming webmistress with a small network of sites and no formal HTML training. I enjoy Shadow, building web sites, Shadow, video games, Shadow, surfing the net, reading, Shadow, food and sleep, and Shadow. Shocky Forever.

This is a pretty empty space, might as well use it to say a few things on my mind.
First of all, it's been several months and this site is well on it's way to 2000 visitors. I never expected the site to become as known as it is, or to receive as much submissions as it does. What I have to say first is, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Without the viewers and supporters, none of this is possible.
I just went through my inbox submissions of art and fics, and I do have a few things to say.
I'm not going to name names, but a few people have sent me art that is quite lovely, but label it as "Bad Shadow Art", "Crap", so on, so forth. I have no time for crap. Have a little more confidence in your abilities, please. If you feel deep down that your art is bad, ask yourself, is it because I don't like it, or is it because I know I can do better? So far I'm yet to see a submitted piece that I truly didn't like. Have a little more confidence, please. This goes to those who write fanfics as well, and a small note: I'm not going to revise and/or proofread fics, please do that before you submit. :)

For those who can't fathom the ability to make an entry (and I do have one person in mind):
If you do not like this site, do not leave an anonymous entry saying "THIS SITE SUCKS!" Such entries are pointed and laughed at. As an added bonus, they are edited to my liking. =P
Hate this site? Say it properly or be ignored. "I think this site needs more ____, or needs to get rid of the _____." Constructive criticism is something everyone should learn. There are messages about things I should change on this site. Did I read it? Yes. Did I get mad? No. Why? It was said constructively. To the few who feel they must flame in my guestbook, I am still laughing at you, go ahead and flame again so I can make a spectacle of you once more. Or better yet, grow up. XD
